The Process:

Writing your story will require recording a
series of one-hour interviews in person or by
telephone. We use interviewing techniques designed to help you recall details. The recordings are transcribed and then combined with historical research and other materials you provide as background for your story. You may be involved at every stage of the process. We might need to
interview other family members and friends.
Besides photos, you may want to include newspaper clippings, wedding announcements, obituaries, genealogies, maps, timelines, recipes, addresses, birthday lists, and other relevant information.
